About Kirsten Pinkston

My 15-year journey at Esri is a story about people, empathy, well-designed experiences, emerging technology, and harnessing the power of customer feedback. Advocating for all stakeholders—from users to leadership—I've learned that active listening is key to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Whether I'm building collaborative teams, designing frameworks, sharing product insights through data storytelling, or shaping program strategy, my focus is on people: understanding customer needs, nurturing employee growth, and designing beloved experiences and tools.

Current Focus

Currently, I lead a CX team comprising expert survey developers, researchers, report analysts, and project managers/coordinators at Esri, driving improvements across products, technology, and business areas through our Voice of the Customer program. I'm also the product owner of the ArcGIS Pro In-App Chatbot and presently coordinating its integration with a cross-department AI LLM.
